IN THE GARDEN
-Plant seeds indoors to jumpstart herbs and vegetable plants.
-If it’s not too cold, begin tilling and spading your vegetable garden area
.
-Consider sowing early vegetable seeds in your garden, and then cover the ground of your vegetable plot with a thick plastic sheet.
-Plant your favorite fruit tree
-Inspect your lawn mower and garden tools to see if they need oiling, servicing, repairing, or replacing.
-Keep your birdhouses filled and check your birdbath to make sure the water hasn’t frozen.
************************************************************************
WISE CHOICES
-Choose Celtic salt over regular table salt. It is natural salt with all its nutrients intact. Table salt has been processed and is often mixed with aluminum to make it more soluble.
-Choose fruit over sucrose.
Fresh fruit for breakfast is a great jump-start for the day. Sugar comes in many varieties but the most healthful variety for the body is fructose, the sugar that comes from fruit. Fructose gives a person an energy lift, and for most people fruit provides a sense of satisfaction. Fruit is also a good source of fiber. Choose fresh whole fruit over fruit juice-whole fruit has fewer calories per portion and fiber. Fresh and frozen (or partially thawed) fruit blended with baby spinach makes a great breakfast.
*Fructose—the sugar found in fruit-breaks down differently in the body than sucrose, which is found in white sugar, syrups, and other processed products. Avoid sucrose products because they are linked to the breakdown of the immune system.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT
-“Half the spiritual difficulties that men and women suffer arise from a morbid state of health.” –Henry Ward Beecher, American clergyman (1813-1887)

INTERESTING FACTS TO KNOW
**Add more than bubbles to your bath
Everyone knows the fun of a bubble bath, but there are other things you can add to your bath that will be truly therapeutic.
Apple cider vinegar: add apple cider vinegar to help invigorate your body and fight fatigue.
Baking soda: to soothe itching skin, irritation, and sunburn. Use about half a box.
Epson salts: can help relax muscles and relieve swelling. Use about one half pound.
Honey: Add a spoonful to help fight insomnia.
Oatmeal: grind to a powder and add to bath to help with sunburn.
Orange slices: are uplifting and you‘ll enjoy the aroma.
**Aloe Vera is a plant that has been used since Bible times. It has healing abilities and properties for promoting removal of dead skin and stimulating normal growth of living cells, can help tighten pores and has anti-bacterial qualities for fighting infection, soothes arthritis pain and reduces the chances of scarring. It is beneficial for minor cuts and fist and second degree burns. Aloe also lowers cholesterol, reduces high blood pressure, alkalizes the body, and helps to balance overly acidic dietary habits.
Aloe has a composition similar to that of human blood plasma and seawater-its pH is the same as human skin. Gel from a freshly cut aloe can be used as an aftershave lotion or moisturizer.

FEATURED NETWORK MEMBER
Linda Clark
Reno, Nevada
My name is Linda Clark and I once was sick and now I am well.
As I approached my 52nd birthday I was out of energy. After 18 years of waitressing and then 20 years of cosmetology I was weak on the outside and toxic on the inside…
I used drugs for blood pressure, acid-reflux, and sleep-deprivation. I was extremely close to a stroke ( learned later) and tried herbal remedies…I overdosed on them and my liver enzymes were on the rise….My body hurt so bad still, after 20 herbs a day, that I went back to my doctor. He sent me to a few specialists including a neurologist and they were looking for Lupus or M.S……and gave me some more drugs….
It took two weeks to realize that these drugs were meant to hide the symptoms and not cure the problem…
I went to a massage therapist who happened to be a juicer as well…
She said that my head was foggy because I had blockages and blood wasn’t circulating enough into my brain and I wasn’t getting enough oxygen in there!…and …..I was extremely toxic!!
Three months later (after detoxing and going cold turkey 99% raw), I was off of the drugs, out of the cosmetology business and on my way to wellness!!!!
I am 57 years old this week and I am healthier after 1 year of ‘Raw” than my 37 yr old daughter and my 18 yr old grand daughter!!!!!!!!!! My eyesight improved to the point I had to change the prescription of my contacts, 3 times!!! The arthritis in my feet and hands are gone!! It doesn’t hurt to wear a ponytail all day!!!!! And I can actually bend down and get up again without the help of a husband!!!!!!
I want to help those baby boomers attend those grand kids weddings!!! (of course we will have to bring our own food) kidding, they will have salad….
I just completed the ‘Raw Vegan Network’ online study course and it was wonderful. I am still in the learning process so my slogan is ‘It’s about our health, it’s about living nutrition, and IT’S ABOUT TIME!’ Come learn with me….’
I will start by introducing the idea of incorporating living food into one’s diet by having in-home demos of testimony, education, and recipe tasting fun!!!!!). Already have several bookings and I am ready to help….lets glow!!!!!! Look for my web-page.. ’Naturally, Nana’s’
